Kermeta Days 07

Document Actions

*Call for participation*

For the 3rd consecutive year, the INRIA Triskell Group is organizing a Kermeta Workshop to bring together Kermeta users and developers from both academia and industry in a friendly atmosphere.  As always, the attendants will enjoy tutorials, user feedbacks and demonstrations on various Kermeta and MDE related subjects.

All these exciting events will take place in the first week of December (4-5/12), at IRISA Rennes, France (2h00 away from Paris by train). Early information can be found at www.kermeta.org. The program is here

The first day, several sessions will be organized:

  • MDE Industrial tracks
  • Experience report on using Kermeta
  • Kermeta new features (Kermeta and beyond)
  • Related work

An industrial forum will be also organized to assess how open source tools such as Kermeta can be better integrated in industrial projects.

The second day, there will be two tracks:

  • A Teacher Forum will be organized to share teaching experiences. We are looking for teachers to report their experiences using Kermeta or other MDE tools for teaching.
  • An academic forum will be organized to discuss on current researches on MDE.

To finalize the program of those two days, we are now soliciting proposals for these topics. An abstract of the presentation proposal
should be sent to Olivier Barais (barais@irisa.fr) and Franck Fleurey fleurey@gmail.com.

Each presentation proposal will be evaluated by the the workshop committee on its anticipated benefit for prospective participants and its fit within the workshop program as a whole.

*Organization*

The conference fees have been lowed to their minimum:
*free* for companies and *free* for academics;).

The hosting will be excellent with internet connection in the conference rooms. Triskell also offers the lunch for these two days. That said, sponsors are welcome!
